Nihilism versus Universalism

The good folks over at Liberal Currents published one of my essays this week on a subject I have been thinking about for many months now. It’s called “Universalism versus Nihilism: the True Divide in American Politics” and gets at my growing disgust with the lack of values in our politics and culture. On the bright side, I argue that we can build a broad anti-fascist coalition by drawing together the people who still believe in universal principles. Check it out and let me know what you think!
